Dr. Jennifer Mentessi-Fitzsimons
Dr. Mentessi is a therapeutically licensed, board-certified optometrist and has been taking care of eyes for more than 15 years. She founded Distinctive Eyewear in 2003.
A graduate of The Ohio State University, Dr. Mentessi holds a degree in physiological optics and a doctor of optometry (O.D.) degree. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Ohio Optometric Association and the North Royalton Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Mentessi is also an InfantSee provider (learn more here).
Dr. Mentessi lives in North Royalton with her handy husband, Brian, and two amazing boys, Jackson and Griffin. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering her kids' school.

Dr. Jean Orehek
Dr. Orehek is a board-certified optometrist and has been in practice for more than 23 years. She joined Distinctive Eyewear in 2006.
A graduate of The Ohio State University, Dr. Orehek holds a degree in biology from John Carroll University and a doctor of optometry (O.D.) degree from The Ohio State University. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association.
Dr. Orehek lives in Willoughby Hills with her husband, Steve, their beautiful two children, Carolyn and Nathan and two cuddly cats. She is very active in her church.

The amazing Sue Butts is a licensed optician and has more than 30 years in the optical field. She's been Distinctive Eyewear from the very beginning.
Sue is licensed with the Ohio Optical Dispensers Board and is a member of Opticians Association of Ohio. Whether it's with sunglasses or prescription glasses, Sue provides one-to-one service to help pick out the right frame for you. After decades of experience fitting thousands of patients, Sue is one of our most requested opticians.
A life-long Parma resident, Sue enjoys gardening and spending time with her large extended family.
The marvelous Sue Loddo is a licensed optician with the Ohio Optical Dispensers Board who has dedicated almost 30 years to assisting families with eye care and frame selection. She joined Distinctive Eyewear in 2003.
Once a volunteer for the Cleveland Sight Center where she conducted vision screening tests for preschoolers, today, Sue is an active member of the Opticians Association of Ohio. She is also certified by the American Board of Opticianry.
Sue lives in Macedonia with her husband and loves to dote on her five beautiful grandkids.
The spectacular Sheryl Bryk is a licensed optician with more than 20 years of experience focused on family eye care and frame selection. She joined Distinctive Eyewear in 2011.
Sheryl is licensed with the Ohio Optical Dispensers Board and is a member of Opticians Association of Ohio. Her sparkling personality and years of experience make her one of our go-to opticians. Whether you’re looking for sunglasses, prescription frames or contact lenses, Sheryl’s one-on-one attention will help you see well and look good.
Sheryl is married to a gentleman also in the optical business and their three children never tire of the constant eye talk at home.
Theresa Lippucci, Accounting Manager/Insurance Specialist
The thoughtful Theresa Lippucci is our accounting manager and insurance specialist. She's been with Distinctive Eyewear since 2013.
When she's not crunching numbers or creating lasting relationships with insurers, the Broadview Heights resident enjoys spending time with her handsome husband Mark. Theresa has two grown children and an adorable granddog named Diesel.
Michelle Hansen, Apprentice Optician
The happy Michelle Hansen has been in the optical field for more than four years and is working with our opticians to become a licensed optician.
Michelle says, "One of our greatest gifts is sight and I value the importance of vision in our daily lives."
When she's not spending time with her two beautiful girls, Michelle enjoys staying fit and working out.
